Do I need to bring anything?
Wellies, gloves and a waterproof coat would be great but don’t worry if you don’t have them. We have plenty to borrow. All safety gear including helmets is provided free of charge. You can also bring a snack or drink if you like.
Is transport provided?
Unfortunately no, but we may be able to put you in touch with a parent or volunteer who can give lifts to young people without access to transport. If you need a lift, get in touch and we’ll try to link you up with someone in your area.
Do parents/carers have to stay?
No, unless a young person has additional needs that requires extra support during the session. We find that young people usually learn to socialise better if they are allowed a bit of independence. If parents or carers wish to stay, we encourage them to become parent helpers so that they can play an active part.
How do I join?
If you’re interested and want to join, contact us and we’ll send you a Consent Form. Complete and send the form back and we’ll be in touch to tell you when you can start. Please don't just turn up as we need to make sure we have enough adults to supervise all the young people in the group.
